I am a native of Vietnam. I completed my education at San Diego State University and attended Law School at the Western Sierra School of Law. In 1994, I passed the State examination and became the first California Certified Court Interpreter in San Diego County. Though I have enjoyed working as an engineer, a real estate and mortgage broker, and entrepreneur, I most enjoy being an interpreter and translator. Bridging the language gap, whether at a court proceeding, a public event, an interview, or between a patient and their doctor, has always been the best reward.

I have worked on many high profile cases in Civil, Federal, and State court (as seen in newspapers and TV), and I am preferred by all courts, judges, law firms, court reporters, and interpreting agencies. After obtaining my certification, I was subsequently selected by the Judicial Council to develop new exams and examine candidates for certification. Over the course of working as a professional interpreter, I also have been called upon to serve as an expert witness for various trials.
